I have many fond memories of growing up with my uncles Wayne and Jeff. Wayne was only 6-1/2 years older than me and Jeff was about 6 years older than Wayne. I stayed with my grandmother Connell during the weekdays, while my mother worked. Me, Jeff and Wayne were always into something. We would go rabbit hunting together. I was only 5 or 6 years old, so they were doing the hunting and I was just tagging along with them. If they were lucky enough to kill anything, Grandmama Connell would cook it up. She could make a mean rabbit hash. I remember one time I got in trouble for something and I was grounded to stay in the house all day. Wayne and Jeff took a screen out of a window, lifted me out thru the window and we all 3 climbed up in a tree. But eventually we did have to come down and suffer the consequences. Those were the best years of my childhood, just hanging out with Jeff and Wayne. They are probably climbing trees in heaven right now.

Wishing we could be there for Wayne's immediate family. He was the best uncle I could have wished for when I was growing up there.
