Obituary

David Lynn Alexander 48, of Tallassee, passed away January 15, 2020. He was born July 3, 1971.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, at 2:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan (Sarah) Alexander and Blake (Taylor) Alexander; grandchildren, Benjamin Alexander, Braxton Alexander and Mia Rose Alexander; mother, Sue Ann Alexander; siblings, Debra (Mike) Baker, Deanna Strickland, Marla (Rickey) Diamond, Wendy Alexander and Sherri (Kenny) Sullivan; and several loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Revere Alexander and son, Gabriel Alexander.

His hobbies were shooting pool with A.P.A, golfing and hunting. He enjoyed spending time on the lake and Gatlinburg trips with his family. He loved his Auburn Tigers and also his career in construction.

So sorry for your loss. Hadn’t seen David in a long tine but couldn’t hardly see small boys playing ball without thinking of how excited my Mama got when she found out one of “her babies “ as she called of Ms. Sue’s kids was coaching her grandson. He taught Charlie a lot that year.

So extremely sorry for your loss. Prayers for Peace Comfort and Strength today and in the days to come. He was so kind and funny. Loved the Auburn Tigers...He touched so many luves in the APA Montgomery. He will be greatly missed, I am so sad and heartbroken..will miss seeing him and saying "War Eagle" to him and him smiling at me. Sincere Prayers for the family.
