Olivia. Thank you so much for the kind words and we certainly do apprecaite your thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much for planting the trees. Mama loved trees and the outdoors. She had me take pictures last fall of some beautiful trees so we could look at them later. Thank you for memorializing her in such a nice way.

Many years ago I met Irene when she worked in Eclectic. I was blessed by her. She was such a loving, caring person. I have read 2 of her awesome books. She leaves a great legacy to her children in those books. She grew up in some hard times but her mother showed her children, you can survive if you want to and are willing to work.

Thank you so much Paula. She certainly was always kind and caring-always thinking about someone else. She was so excited that you and others liked her books. We appreciate your kind words.

Ms. Irene will always be remembered as a most compassionate woman who loved her family and Lord. I have fond memories of Ms. Irene Chambers, although I visited Alabama many times over the years, my first true experience of what I always imagined to be Southern Hospitality was fulfilled with meeting Ms. Irene and her family over 30 years ago, when myself and two other Native American Indian individuals were introduced to this very loving and caring person with whom I kept in contact with over the years. My deepest condolences to the family, our prayers will continue to be with you during this time of bereavement.

Lovingly,
