MSG Wood helped me by assisting me in getting an LOD and subsequent neck surgery from a combat injury. He went well beyond what was required of him and was always professional, thorough, and cordial. We maintained a very cordial relationship since that time. He will be GREATLY missed by me.

I knew MSG Wood for a short amount of time. He was one of the first people I met at work. He welcomed me immediately. If I had questions, he answered them or did his best to. He became a mentor as well as friend. He was never without a smile and kind word. I hope we all live up to his great standards. He spoke of his family often and never without a laugh and a smile. I pray for you, MSG Wood. I pray for your beautiful family. Merry meet, merry part. Merry meet again. ❤️
