Jimmy Wayne was my cousin. I didn’t see him often as an adult, but we did see him when my mom died, and we visited him about three years ago when we came to Alabama for an Auburn game. He always let me know he loved me. I loved him and Minnie Lois. I’m so sorry to know he’s not where he lived his whole life. I’m happy to see that he had friends who loved and appreciated his kind gentle soul. Melba Shores Good

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear loved one Mr Shores. May your family find the much needed comfort in God’s Word the Bible because it offers the wonderful hope of seeing him again when all sickness, all suffering and even our enemy death will be completely wiped away from the earth forever. (Revelations 21:3,4; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 33:24)

We will miss our neighbor, and seeing him at the ECHS football games. He has a big heart and greeted us with a smile every time we would see him out. We will miss him waving when we drove by the house. Our deepest condolences to the family. And our regrets for not being able to attend his funeral.

My prayers are with family. Jimmy was a special person. He seemed to have so much fun at the swimming pool when I was in charge of it and my Jimmy was life guard. He would put my my baby daughter Toni, six at the time and through her way up to splash down in the water. We all loved Jimmy. He will be missed!
