Alice Thornton

Mrs. Alice McAlister Thornton, 98, of Eclectic, passed away December 1, 2015. She was born June 8, 1917.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, followed by funeral service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Charles Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by daughters, Martha Rankin of Millbrook, Dean Williams of Eclectic and Katie Farris (Don) of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Ken Walker (Kelly), LeAnn Jones (Gary), Todd Williams (Holly), Robbie Williams (Stephanie), Jeremy Farris (Lisa) and Jason Farris; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Thornton.
