Mr. Andrew Griggs Jr., 70, of Tallassee, passed away December 29, 2013. He was born April 21, 1943.
Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 am at First Assembly of God with Rev. Travis Bittle officiating. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by sons, Michael A. Griggs (Kipp) and Mark Griggs (Tammy); sister, Frances Beasley; grandchildren, Katherine, Drew, Colin and Anna.
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Gloria Ann Griggs; daughter, Patricia Faye Griggs, father, Andrew Griggs Sr.; mother, Mary Ozella Griggs; and sister, Dorothy Griggs.
