Angelia Sellers Davidson

Angelia Sellers Davidson, age 52, of Kent, Alabama, joined our Father in heaven peacefully on June 8, 2025 after her second battle with cancer. She was born on February 16, 1973 to Rebecca (Flournoy) Sellers and Lonnie Sellers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Becky Sellers and Lonnie Sellers. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Chris Davidson; their beautiful daughter Christal Davidson; two young ladies who decided she was their other mother later in life, Morgan Phillips and Abigal Hornsby, as well as four Gammie's girls: Annastyn Rose, Ella, Ava, and Laken; her brother David Sellers (Caroline), several nieces and nephews, an extended family of in-laws, including her loving mother-in-law Pat Casey, and close friends who became family over the years, including her church families at Bethlehem East Baptist Church and Warm Springs First Baptist.

Angelia grew up in Kent, attending Bethlehem East Baptist Church. She met Chris while working at Community Medical Arts in Tallassee, they were married in January of 1997. They had a beautiful love story and faced many trials together, but with a love for each other and their eyes on God together, they overcame each one. They moved to Warm Springs, Georgia, in 2001, where Angelia taught elementary school, and their family of three became complete in 2005 when Christal was born. While in Georgia, they attended Warm Springs First Baptist Church, where they were honored to serve God. Their family returned to Kent in 2017 after Angelia's first right with cancer. They came home to Bethlehem East soon after, where they again loved serving God.

Angelia loved music, seafood, animals, the lake, her friends, her church, where she served on several committees, her favorite being the hostess committee, her family, and mostly God our Father. She said many times that if my life didn't preach my funeral, there's no need to have one. All the preacher needs to say is Y'all know she loved Jesus, y'all know where she is. Do you love Jesus? Do you know where you'll be? Go home and think about it.

Services for Angelia will be held at Bethlehem East Baptist Church on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11 am followed by the funeral service at 12 noon. Bro. John Sparks and Bro. Don Stephens will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
