Ann Lowe Willis

Ann Lowe Willis, 78, passed away at her home Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was born December 10, 1944.

Graveside service and burial will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Elam Cemetery. Brother Nic Stockdale, Pastor of Elam Baptist Church, will conduct the service with Brother Don Stephens assisting.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ron Willis; daughter, Lori Willis Hornsby (Hal); brother, Gary Lowe (Carol); sister-in-law, Becky Willis Goss; two nieces; one nephew and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Vonelia Lowe.

Ann was a 1963 graduate of Reeltown High School and a 1967 graduate of Huntington College. She is well known in the community for her musical talents and she dedicated 35 years to Elam Baptist Church as pianist. Ann taught at both Huntsville and Reeltown schools.

The family would like to thank two special caregivers, Dottie Aldridge and Sarah Howard, for the love and care they gave.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be memorial contributions to Elam Baptist Church Youth Fund.
