Bertha Hall-Smith

Bertha Mae Hall-Smith, 88-years-old, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at her home in Red Hill, Alabama. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her many months of a lengthy illness. Yet even throughout her own struggles, her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes touched the lives of so many around her.

Her surviving family members are her son, Russell Lynn Smith, Jr., her daughter, Linda Kaye Smith-Evan and Grandson Randy Smith. Unfortunately there are too many beloved cousins, nephews, and grandchildren to mention.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Linville Memorial Funeral Home, 84632 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, Alabama. The funeral service will be presided by Rev Ken Keppel at Watson Chapel, in Eclectic, AL on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 am.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from friends, and the Gentiva Hospice team. A special thank you to Vanessa Willis and Jennifer Cox, Bertha's Hospice care provider and nurse.
