Betty Mae Spivey

Visitation will begin at 1 pm, Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Todd Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be Beau Baker, Ken Baker, Andy Davidson, Robby Elliot, Trent Moore and Brandon Morris.  Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery.

Betty is survived by daughter Kim Moore (Alan); brothers Donald “Debo” Spivey and Roger Spivey; grandchildren Daniel Cannon (Brandon Morris), Summer Jones (Eric), Brodie Moore and Jaxon Moore; step grandchildren Kasey Elliot (Robby) and Trent Moore (Audrey); step great-grandchildren Knox Hearn, Kenzie Hearn and Charley Moore and nieces and nephews Tangie Nabors (Lee), Alicia Davidson (Andy), Crystal Baker, Ashton Baker, Beau Baker, Chloe Davidson, Addison Nabors, Tate Smith, Mariah Kirk, Mia Kirk and Jontavious Kirk. She loved keeping the fur babies, Baxter, Ms. Pea, Nina and Trixie.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Wilbert and Lorene Spivey; sister-in-law Debra Spivey and soulmate Don Melton. 

The family would like to thank Tallassee Health and Rehab and Community Home Health and Hospice Care for taking such good care of “our” Betty.
