Betty Jean Stanley

Mrs. Betty Jean Stanley, age 82, a resident of Eclectic, passed away June 16, 2012. She was born August 10, 1929.

Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2012 from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Watson Chapel Church, followed by the funeral service at 4:00 pm with Rev. Kenneth Keppel officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

Jean grew up in Eclectic. She moved to Mobile in her late teenage years, where she was crowned Miss Mobile in 1947. She enjoyed traveling with her husband during his military career. After returning to the Eclectic area, she worked and retired from Russell Mills. She enjoyed flower arranging and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Debra Jordan (Gary), Rex Stanley (Carolyn), Michael Stanley (Carol), Mark Stanley (Susan) and Dan Stanley (Karen); grandchildren, Kevin Jordan, Nikki (Steve) Siler, Diamond Vrocher, Shannon Jones, Jason Stanley, Michelle Stanley, Daniel Stanley, Elizabeth Stanley, Karilyn Stanley and Andrew Stanley; and great-grandchildren, Victoria Siler, Colin Siler, Emma, Tess, Anna and Aidan Vrocher and Dylan and Kailey Jones.
