Bobby Joe Hardy

Mr. Bobby Joe Hardy, 83, of Tallassee, passed away November 28, 2014. He was born May 9, 1931.

Graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Carrville Cemetery with Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Friends and family will assemble at the cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Hardy; brother, Buford Hardy (Nadine); sister-in-law, Jean Crocker (Lucky) and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Lorea Hardy.

Mr. Hardy honorably served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an Auditor for the State of Alabama Revenue Department for 35 years before retiring. Even his hobby was work related, as he enjoyed doing taxes for people.
