Carolyn Stanley

Carolyn Jarrett Vrocher Stanley passed away in her home on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the age of 79. In her final hours she was surrounded by loved ones who will always cherish her as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend.

A long-time resident of Tallassee and Montgomery, Carolyn was originally from Mobile, Alabama. She had a long career as a nurse and worked in clinical, research, and corporate settings. Carolyn was an excellent cook and seamstress, an avid lover of nature and animals, and a supporter of numerous charitable causes. Her spirit and exuberant enjoyment of life was inspirational.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Rex Stanley; her children, Nikki Vrocher Siler (Stephen) and Diamond Vrocher (Hilary); her grandchildren, Victoria Siler, Colin Siler (Janu), Emma Vrocher, Tess Vrocher Kizziah (Cole), Anna Vrocher, Aidan Vrocher, Max Vrocher, and Molly Vrocher; and beloved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, at 2 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home in Eclectic, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm. Interment will follow in Watson Chapel Cemetery in Eclectic.

Flowers are welcome and will be donated after the services to local nursing and veteran facilities. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation or St. Jude Research Hospital.
