Charles Gipson Brown

Charles Gipson Brown, 79, of Tallassee, passed away October 27, 2023. He was born August 7, 1944.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10 am at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Batyski officiating.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles "Charlie" Brown; mother, Bessie Beatrice Brown and great-granddaughter, Norah Grace.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Brown; children, Billy Brown (Cindy), Charlene Moore, Michele Hill (Chris), Jimmy Brown, Brandon Taylor and Bambi Blalock; grandchildren, Brittany (Jeremy), Allison (Sammuel), Bud (Kelly), Will, Austin (Janna), Alex, Josh, Jessica (Jake), Matthew, Amanda, Kaitlin, Savannah (Stephen), Courtney, Dawson, Caleb and Riley; great-grandchildren, Liam and Ariah, Aden and Aylee, Sky, Charlotte, Levi, Wyatt, Dawson and Cameron; sister, Annette Rawls, nephew, Kenny and niece, Emily.

His hobbies were gardening and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He was always willing to help anyone and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
