Charles Jackson

Charles E. Jackson, 83,a resident of Tallassee, passed away August 6, 2010. He was born August 12, 1926.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. David Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm till funeral time on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church.

He is survived by daughter, JoAnn Holley (Woody); grandchildren, Jack Holley (April), Frank Holley (Kacey) and Mandy Haynes (Jason); great-grandchildren, Meredith and Bethany Holley, Haydn Haynes, and Audrey and Amelia Haynes; sister, Barbara Gates (Jimmy); brother-in-law, Donnie Newman (Connie); sister-in-law, Lois Newman; brother-in-law, Marion McFarland; and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Jackson.
