Cheryl Kay Harris

Cheryl Harris of Reeltown, Alabama, passed away February 1, 2023 surrounded and cared for by her loving family and extended family. She was born August 30, 1946 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Yvonne Aldrich/Myer; stepfather, Les Myer; brother, Carter Aldrich; sister-in-law, Caroline Aldrich; grandson, Sean Harris and granddaughter, Alyssa Jackson.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Harris; two daughters, Voni Jackson and Kari (Kenny) Harris-Jones; two sons, Robert (Loredana) Harris and Jerry (April) Harris; eleven grandchildren, Kiara Harris, Kandice Harris, Roberto Harris, Marika Harris, Elina Harris, Dale Harris, Abbygail Harris, John (Emmalee) Jackson Jr., Tyler Jackson, and Melody Jackson; six great-grandchildren, Taelyn, Landen, Levi, KeAlli, Amari and Keihlani on the way; three brothers, Clifford (Nancy) Aldrich, Calvin Aldrich and Craig (Denise) Aldrich; cousin and best friend, Sandra Splitt; special friend, Barb Grant; and a multitude of extended family.

Cheryl's celebration of life will be held at Linville Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2023. Visitation starts at 1:00 pm with funeral service at 2:00 pm. Rev. John Sparks will be officiating and burial will follow in Elam Cemetery.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all.
