Cheryl Ann May

Mrs. Cheryl Ann May, 67, of Eclectic, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She was born August 10, 1948.

Visitation will be Friday, October 23 , 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Claunch officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Walter May; daughter, Monica Clayton; son, Ricky May; sisters, Brenda Portwood and Lynn Miller May; brothers, George Hall Jr, Kenneth Hall and Jimmy Hall; grandchildren, Summer Ann Clark, Jennifer Dopp, Jeremy Clayton, Ricki Lauren Easterling and Christopher May; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was reared at the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home in Troy, where she met her husband, Walter May. She was the sporting goods manager at K-Mart for a number of years. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and spending time with her family.
