Connie Jean Moon (Stalnaker)

Connie Jean Moon, age 69, of Tallassee, passed away February 23, 2024. She was born March 7, 1954.

Visitation will begin at 9 am, Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Carrville Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 10 am with Rev. Ben Nobles and Rev. Keith Ray officiating.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Gillian Kindred (Josh); grandson Golden Kindred and granddaughter Langley Kindred; Gretta Headley (Ben), grandsons Jackson Hornsby (Mari), Logan Hornsby, Slade Headley, Thomas Mitchell, John Mitchell, and granddaughter Samantha Mitchell; Galerie Beckham, granddaughters Sophie and Libbie Kate Beckham; sister Angela Gantt (Joe), nephews, Luke, Sam and Noah Gantt.  

Connie is preceded in death by her parents Lib and Bobby Stalnaker and brother Earl Stalnaker.  

Connie graduated from Tallassee High School in 1972.  She was a 31 year employee of the United States Postal Service and retired as postmaster in Loachapoka, AL.  She was an active member of Carrville Baptist Church.    Her hobbies included visiting and spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling with friends and showing love and acceptance to everyone she met.
