Mrs. Dorothy Williams Spain Hughes, 93, of Notasulga, passed away June 8, 2019. She was born January 7, 1926.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 12, at 2 pm, at Christ’s Gospel Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dadeville, Linville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory officiating. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service, starting at 12 noon.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Spain and Larry Spain; daughter, Carolyn Spain; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Malcom B. Spain and Albert D. Hughes; nine siblings; and son, Billy Mack Spain.
