Mrs. Dorothy Waites, 69, of Tallassee, passed away September 3, 2014. She was born May 13, 1945.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at East Tallassee Church of Christ. Funeral services Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at East Tallassee Church of Christ with Minister Michael McElroy officiating. Burial will follow at Carrville Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her husband, Jerald Lee “Jerry” Waites; children, Wanda Waites Haynie (Bill), Brenda Waites Atkins (Joe), David Waites (Angie) and Wayne Waites (Crystal); sister, Becky Hooker; brother, James Taylor (Sandra); grandchildren, Bradley J. Hurst (Kayla), Ashley Lynn Bonifay, Austin Lee Atkins, Brady Cole Atkins, Hunter Waites and Levi Waites; and four great grandchildren.
