Drew Gantt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drew Gantt, a devoted father, loving partner, and cherished son, who left us too soon at the age of 21 on May 14, 2025. He was born October 10, 2003.

Visitation will begin at 11 am, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at First Assembly of God Tallassee, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 pm with Rev. Bobby Hornsby and Rev. Jason Wright officiating.

Drew was a bright light in the lives of his two young children, Alec Gantt and Kaston Webb, and his beautiful fiancée, Heaven, whom he loved wholeheartedly.

Drew lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with joy and enthusiasm. He was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him, always ready with a smile and encouraging words. He had an unwavering love for his parents, step-parents, grandparents, in-laws, brothers, extended family, and friends. He cherished these relationships deeply and was a steadfast supporter to those he loved.

Recently, Drew had been accepted into a heavy machining program, an opportunity that filled him with excitement about the future he and Heaven were building together. He dreamed of creating a bright life for his family, filled with love, laughter, and adventure. His spirit of adventure, determination, and hope will remain with us, lighting the path for those who loved him.

Drew is survived by his beloved children, Alec Gantt and Kaston Webb; his fiancée, Heaven Webb; his loving parents, William Gantt (Sara) and Haley Hornsby (Jake); his brothers/sisters, Caleb, Josh, Brian, Sam, Dominic, Cadence, Jackson, Logan, Jasleigh, and Daylan; grandparents, Roger Hornsby (Paige); aunts/uncles, David Gray (Billie Shae), Holly Ellis (Lem), Marine Hornsby, Jessica Hornsby, Dianne Johnson (Tommy), Jason Spain, Shana Wright (Josh); and his #LLDFG crew of cousins/friends, Natalie, Gabe, Hope, Hannah, Chandler, Suzy, Kalen, Lacey, Blake, Grayci, Sara, Derrick, Ted, Brandon, Tati, Jerry, Cade, and a large extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David Lanier and Pam Gray, William Gantt Sr., stepfather, Mike Hornsby; and his best friends, Kemon Harris and Jace Baker. The impact he made on our lives is immeasurable and he will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, dear Drew Gantt. Your love and laughter will forever echo in our hearts.
