Era Clarice Ransom

Mrs. Era Clarice Ransom, 85, of Tallassee, passed away November 3, 2016. She was born January 28, 1931.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10 am, at Riverside Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Billingsley and Bro. Steve Schmitt officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by sons, Robert “Butch” Ransom (Janice) and Mark Ransom; daughter, Pam Johnson (Mike); brother, Wilford Drew McGarr; sisters, Katherine Patillo and Patricia "Pat" McGarr Taylor; grandchildren, Cale Ransom, Brandon Ransom, Maddox Ransom, Shawn Parker and Madison Johnson; great grandson, Jack Parker; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, L. D. Ransom, Jr.
