Herschell Elmo Barrow

Herschell Elmo Barrow, 89, longtime resident of Mundelein, IL and retired Airline Captain, who flew with Ozark Airlines and TWA, passed away January 23, 2023. Elmo was born August 3, 1933 to Herschell Barrow, Sr. and Verna Barrow (Hughes) in Greenville, Missouri.

Elmo is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Barrow (Hall) and his only son, Richard Barrow. He is survived by his three daughters, Wendy (Rob) Fairhurst, Christine (Glen) Reimers and Patricia (Chester) Jones; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and brother, Richard (Carolyn) Barrow.

Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2023 from 9:00 - 9:45 am at Haben Funeral Home in Skokie, IL. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL. Entombment will follow.
