Iris Ballard

Mrs. Iris Ballard, 86, of Tallassee, passed away December 7, 2017. She was born March 16, 1931.

Funeral service will be Sunday, December 10, at 2:30 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Voss and Keeton Wainscott officiating. Burial will follow at Carrville Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 pm until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, Art Ballard; sons, Steve Ballard (Sandie) and Greg Ballard; daughter, Donna McGarity (Brent); brothers, Cordell Carlisle (Becky) and James W. Carlisle; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Owen Grady and Imogene Carlisle; sister, Doris Segrest and brother, Owen Grady Carlisle Jr.
