Jack Malcom Talley

Mr. Jack M. “Happy Jack” Talley, 84, a long-time resident of Eclectic, passed away October 30, 2015. He was born April 15, 1931. He was self-employed for over 40 years sanding and refinishing hardwood floors. He was a member and trustee at Old Watson Chapel and he was an avid outdoorsman.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2015, at 2:00 pm, at Linville Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Keppel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time. Burial will follow at Old Watson Chapel Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leona “Penny” Talley; two sons, Ronald J. Talley (Tissie) of Eclectic and Mike Talley of Elmore; grandchildren, Brandon Talley of Millbrook, Christy Talley-Beasley of Central, Brandie Talley-Weaver of Millbrook, Becky Talley-Weaver of Central and Tabitha Talley of Elmore; step grandson, Hunter Hall of Brandon, MS, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family extends special thanks to Lake Martin Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lake Martin Hospice or one’s favorite charity.
