James Russell "Jim" Harsha

James Russell Harsha, age 73, went to be with God on November 15, 2010, after a brave fight against heart disease and cancer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. His life will be honored and celebrated on November 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Santuck Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Miller and Reverend Larry Gore officiating. The family will also receive friends 10-11 am on November 18, 2010 at the church prior to the service. A family graveside service will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Brundidge, Alabama.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Ramona Ray Harsha; children, Lisa Thrash Fleming (Keith), Scott Thrash, Gina Thrash Westover (Rob), Melody Thrash Nelson (Jim), Jeff Harsha (Andrea) and Joe Harsha; grandchildren, Christian Thrash, Miranda Harsha, Hunter Russell, Cassidy Harsha, Colbi Thrash, Karah Fleming, Hadden Langley, Isabel Fleming, Skyler Graves, Heather Rae Harsha and Sawyer Nelson; one brother, Ralph Harsha and one sister, Pat Harsha.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Ethel Harsha; three brothers and one sister. 

Active pallbearers will be his sons-in-law, grandsons and closest friend, Willie Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of his Sunday School Class.
