Mr. James Murray “Jim” Shores, age 71, a resident of Eclectic, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012. He was born September 28, 1941.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 1, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Merlene Shores; daughter, Jennifer Clark; sons, Michael (Sharon) Shores and David (Carrie) Shores; brothers, Matthew (Brenda) Roehm and Norman Halliday; sister, Cathy (Frank) Wilson; grandson, Colton Clark; granddaughter, Charlotte Shores and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would have those donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation online at www.michaeljfox.org in memory of James M. Shores.
The family extends thanks and appreciation to Hospice Advantage for all their loving care and professionalism.
