Jason Daniel Reed

Jason Daniel Reed, age 39, of Wetumpka, passed away August 21, 2025. He was born September 26, 1985.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Sheila Willilams; his dad, Mickey Williams; grandparents, John and Betty Reed and August and Ruby Moore; and uncle, Randy Moore.

He is survived by his dad, Curtis Reed; his mom, Darlene Reed; sons, Jude, Liam and Dylan Reed (their mother, Kendra (Brad) Naile); siblings, Nick (Shannon) Reed, Josh (Christy) Reed, Jennifer (Ricky) Neumans, Marcus Gippert and Michael (Kara) Gippert; nieces and nephews, Cody Reed, Jayden Reed, Brynn Reed, Cadance Reed, Waylon Reed, Garrett Reed, Nevaeh Gippert, Braxton Owens, Leah Durden, Gracyn Gippert and Morgan Gippert; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ruby Hart, Justin Reed and Hudson Reed; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home.

Jason was always making people laugh, so full of life and mischief, always the life of the party and always so kind. To family and friends, he was known as J. Bird, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and best friend, but his most prized endearment.....Dad. Jason loved his sons more than anything in the world. He enjoyed music, cooking, fishing, squirrel hunting and anything Auburn.
