Jeffrey Paul Dennis, 44, of Tallassee, passed away on July 29, 2026. Born on November 22, 1981, Jeffrey was a lifelong member of the Tallassee community loving everything Tallassee football.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, June Norrell Peoples, and his father, Paul Jackson "Jackie" Dennis, Jr.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving sister, Paulette Meadows (Allen); his nieces, Brooke Watson (Dustin) and Paige Jones (Colby); his cherished great-niece and great-nephews, Luke, Stetson, Lylah Kate, and Beau; his uncle, Mike Dennis (LaDonna); and many cousins and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Jeffrey was employed as a Marketing Applications Specialist at Neptune in Tallassee, where he dedicated many years of service. He was respected by his coworkers for his knowledge, dedication, and willingness to help others.
To know Jeffrey was to know someone with a heart as big as his smile. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, never missing an opportunity to show up for the people he cared about. Whether it was cheering on his nieces and their children at every game, program, or special event, spending time with family, or simply being there when someone needed him, Jeffrey could always be counted on. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and unwavering support to those around him.
Jeffrey enjoyed spending time fishing, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide and his beloved Tallassee Tigers, and making memories with family and friends. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making people laugh. His quick wit, gentle spirit, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Above all, Jeffrey loved the Lord. His faith guided the way he lived and the way he loved others. He loved with grace, compassion, and generosity. He was first to lend a helping hand, the friend everyone could depend on, and the family member who never let life's important moments pass by unnoticed. His love was constant, selfless, and abundant.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, those who loved Jeffrey find peace in knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior. His legacy of faith, love, laughter, and loyalty will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
