Jerry Garrett
June 20, 1964 — January 23, 2011
Jerry Garrett, age 46, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2011 at Columbus Regional Specialty Center. He was born June 20, 1964 in Dadeville, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eldridge Garrett and his mother, Dorothy Garrett.
He is survived by wife, Irene Garrett of Tallassee; daughters, Rachel Griffith (Matt) and Rainee Garrett of Tallassee; brothers, Eugene Garrett and David Garrett (Maria) of Opelika; sister, Jane Wilson (Tony) of Opelika and many friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Eastview Baptist Church, 1208 Spring Dr, Opelika, AL at 5:00 pm with Pastor David Babson officiating.
There will also be a memorial service on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 5:00 pm at River Road Baptist Church, Tallassee, AL.
