Jessie Davis Blalock

Jessie Gray Davis Blalock, 60, of Wetumpka, AL passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1961.

Jessie wore many titles throughout the course of her life; but the title she wore the best was “mother”. She loved her children and her grandchildren so deeply. Jessie loved everyone well, with her whole heart. She never met a stranger and she always forgave. She was good to everyone she ever knew.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Davis; her mother, Emma Mount; her brother, Rolston Davis; and her sister, Delories Warren.

She is survived by her son, Danny Lee Cannon, Jr. (Stacey); her daughters, Jessica Walls (Dave) and Jennifer Bartgis (Joey); her grandchildren, Cade Jernigan (Hannah), Coby Jernigan, Carley Walls, Emma Kate Walls and Tanner Bartgis; her brother, George Davis; other extended family members; and her furry friend, Roscoe, who kept her great company over the past several months. She is also survived by a countless number of friends who are far too many to mention by name.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at Prospect Baptist Church in Eclectic, AL with Bro. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Jason Davis, Steve Warren, Jamie Pressley, Brandon Phillips, Joey Bartgis, and David Walls.
