Johnnie Paul Aldridge

June 16, 1951 — September 22, 2021

Johnnie Paul Aldridge, 70, of Tallassee, passed away September 22, 2021 in Antioch, California. He was born June 16, 1951.

Johnnie wore many titles throughout the course of his lifetime but the title he wore best was caregiver. He loved people and he always tried to leave them in better condition than when he found them. Johnnie was an amazing teacher, nurse, student, pianist, brother, son, friend, and father. He loved his children and grandchildren immensely.

Johnnie never met a stranger, always taking time to listen to whatever the problem was just to let you know that someone cared. His most notable features were his welcoming smile and his infectious laughter.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Aldridge; mother, Nellie Ree Aldridge; and sister, Gloria Griggs.

He is survived by his spouse, B. Pascua-Aldridge; sister, Karen Bryant (Russell); son, John Ryan Aldridge (Brittnay); daughter, Jennifer Peterson (Jim) and grandchildren, Cade, Donavan, Carly, Cole (John and Brittany), Megan, Ethan, Harrison and Sarah (Jennifer and Jim). Johnnie is also survived by his countless friends and loved ones who miss and loved him dearly.

Memorial service will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the chapel at Linville Memorial Funeral Home.
