Johnnie Smith

Mr. Johnnie D. Smith, 91, of Tallassee, passed August 30, 2017. He was born May 4, 1926.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10 to 11 am at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, followed by funeral service at 11 am with Rev. Josh Cullars officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Wallace (Wayne), Donna Wood and Reanee Smith; son, Johnny Darryl Smith (Jan); seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

He was a veteran of WWII and retired from Mount Vernon Mills.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Ezra Smith and Luna Savannah Smith; wife, Katie B. Smith and son, Michael “Mike” Smith.
