Joy Hathcock

Mrs. Joy L. Hathcock, age 51, a resident of Tallassee, passed away September 20, 2012. She was born September 17, 1961.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm from the Chapel at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Blake Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Mann Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Don Hathcock; sons, Eddie Hathcock (Mallory), Scott “Skeeter” Hathcock (Amanda) and Danny Hathcock (Libby); daughter, Cindy Graves (Simon); mother-in-law, Audie Mae “Granny” Hathcock; brother, Blake Lockhart (Teresa); grandchildren, Cade Hathcock, Liam Hathcock and Brayden Hathcock; and several nieces and nephews.

Joy and her husband are the owners of Southern Auto and Glass Company in Tallassee. She loved her family and was always willing to help others. She will be greatly missed.
