Kitty Johnson

Mrs. Kitty June Johnson, 65, of Tallassee, passed away on Tuesday October 14, 2014. She was born March 2, 1949, the daughter of June and Edwin Wallace in Santa Maria, CA.

Kitty worked several years in the banking industry. She relocated in 1988 to Alabama where she continued to raise her daughter, Justine. She enjoyed working with her plants, flowers and most of all she loved crocheting gifts for her family and friends. Known in the community as "Miss Kitty", she saw only kindness in everyone.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 17, at 2:00 pm from Linville Memorial Chapel.

She is survived by her faithful companion "WeeOne"; her daughter, Justine Fogarty and her son-in-law, Chris; grandson, Wyatte Thomas; granddaughter, Jesse Thomas; brother, John Wallace and wife Mary Jo of Colorado; sisters, Leslie Ruiz and husband David of California and Delores Black and husband Gordy of Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.
