Leon McCord Jr.

Mr. Leon McCord Jr., 74, a resident of Hope Hull, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2015. He was born August 13, 1941.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Hayneville Baptist Church, 1180 Hwy 21 North, Hayneville, AL 36040 with Rev. K. C. Jackson and Rev. Irby Lee Jackson officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy McCord; children, Tim McCord (Michelle), Leon “Pete” McCord III (Ann) and Cherry McCord Henderson (Stephen); brother, Harry McCord (Gloria); grandchildren, Jeremy McCord (Lisa), Leon McCord IV (Marie), William McCord and Jaimie Henderson; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers accepted or donations may be made to one’s local animal shelter.
