Lillie Thornton

Mrs. Lillie Thornton, 87, of Tallassee, passed away January 12, 2018. She was born March 4, 1930.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2 pm, at Oak Valley Station United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 1 pm.

She is survived by her husband, James Albert Thornton; daughters, Phyllis Gleason (Mike), Sherry Thrash (Claud) and Delaine Brown; sons, Chris Thornton, Mark Thornton (Barbara) and Jim Thornton (Kim); daughter-in-law, Sue Huey; sisters, Elsie Small and Betty Ruth Ledbetter (Jimmy) and over forty grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Ida Jones and a son, Lee Huey.
