Lucille Fannin

Lucille Fannin, age 94, a resident of Tallassee, passed away April 24, 2025. She was born September 4, 1930.

Visitation will begin at 11 am, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Westside Independent Baptist Church, followed by funeral service at 12 pm. Rev. Rick Dorley will officiate. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Zola Spivey and Georgia LE Hanna Spivey; her husband, William Virgil Fannin; sisters, Inez Cooper, Clara Hicks, Odell Spivey, Lola Hornsby and Annie Lee; and brothers, Zola Spivey, Wilbert Spivey, Frankie Spivey and Coley Spivey.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Betty) Fannin, Steve (Kathy) Fannin, Janice Bradberry and Margaret Webster; grandchildren, Regena Kilgore, Stephen Webster, Alaina (Michael) Akers, Audra (Jeremy) Utley, William (Jeanna) Bradberry, Brandon (Amanda) Webster, Michael (Misty) Fannin, Justin (Amanda) Fannin and Matt (Ambrea) Fannin; great-grandchildren, Madison Webster, Chase Webster, Alyssa Webster, Addyson Webster, Briana Webster, Hanna Webster, Cely Bradberry, Bryant Thomas, Noah Akers, Ava Akers, Ann Katherine Utley, Kaylee Fannin, Maddie Fannin, Alli Smith, Hunter Fannin, Karter Fannin, Kyler Fannin, Jake Campbell and Alex Campbell; and great-great-grandson, Rhyder Webster.

Lucille spent many years as a care giver to children, who fondly called her “Momma Cille.” She taught life lessons in compassion and devotion. She leaves her family with many wonderful memories and she will be deeply missed.
