Luree Oates

Mrs. Luree Oates, age 88, a resident of Montgomery, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born April 29, 1925.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 12 noon until 2 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1530 Bridge Creek Rd, Prattville, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Gene Bridgman officiating. Pall bearers will be Jason Oates, Donnie Ritenour, Danny Allen, James Todd, Terry Oates and Christin Rocha. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by sons, Carl D. (Evelyn) Oates, Barney F. (Teresa) Oates, William D. (Barbara Epstein) Oates and James H. Oates and daughter, Lucille Oates, all of Montgomery. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron D. Oates; brothers, Edward Tomberlin, John Cecil Tomberlin and Carl Edward Tomberlin and sister, Minnie Lee Mann.
