Margaret Ruth Martin

Mrs. Margaret Ruth Templeton Martin, age 84, a resident of Eclectic, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013. She was born August 29, 1928.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Eclectic United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Mark Osgood and Rev. Charles Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home Directing.

She is survived by her children, Sally M. Miller, John M. Martin, David K. Martin and Linda L. Martin; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Poulnott (Jim) and Jean Mann; grandchildren, Adina Gephrich, Kimberly Channell, Kelly Kindred, Breanne Abbot, Sonya Whitley and David Martin; fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a son, James L. Martin Jr.; husband, James L. "Pete" Martin Sr., mother, Mary Templeton and father, John Templeton.

The family sends heartfelt thanks to her caretakers, Carolyn Sparks, Fannie Gillette, Rita Patillo and Maggie McIntyre and the nurses and staff of Hospice Advantange.
