Margaret Monk

Ms. Margaret Monk, 75, of Tallassee, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016. She was born October 10, 1940.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11 am at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Estes officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at 10:30 am at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Frances Pate; daughter, Elaine Monk Shirley (David); brother, William Mack Monk; sisters, Frances Brantley, Velma Rice and Dianne Funderburk; and grandson, Hunter Griffith.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dudley Monk; brother, Robert Allen Monk; brother-in-law, Richard Brantley Sr. and great nephew, Bouke Peters.
