Mr. M. J. Mullins Jr., 89, of Eclectic, passed away October 1, 2014. He was born October 16, 1924.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm, Friday, October 3, 2014 with the funeral service to follow at 2 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by children, David Mullins (Sandy), Janice Lock (Randall), Larry Mullins (Julie) and Gayle Watford (Chuck); brother, George Mullins (Myra); sister, Lottie Mae Smith; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eddie Well Mullins and daughter, Susan Joy Mullins.

Mr. Mullins was a faithful lifetime member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He worked in Maintenance for the Elmore County Board of Education, retiring after 22 years of service. He was an avid gardener.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Building Fund at Good Hope Baptist Church, 1766 S. Fleahop Rd, Eclectic, AL 36024.
