Mary Jo Davis

Mrs. Mary Jo Davis, 93, of Tallassee, passed away February 12, 2014. She was born August 23, 1920.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:30 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Gentle officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by sons, Mack Davis (Peggy) and Jim Davis (Deborah); daughters, Lee Ann Boulware and Marlene Barnette; grandchildren, Bob Boulware, Joy Davis, Ryan Davis and Sarah Davis; and great grandchildren, Jordan and Marleigh Boulware and Tristan, Will and Seth Johns.
She is preceded in death by her husband, W. D. “Snooks” Davis; son, Butch Davis; sisters, Betty Jones and Frances Dees and brother, James R. “Jimmy” Richardson Jr.
