Mary Louise Dean

Mrs. Mary Louise Dean, 90, a resident of Travelers Rest, SC, formerly of Tallassee, passed away November 10, 2014. She was born November 8, 1924.

Visitation one hour prior to the 2 pm funeral service on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Salem Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Roswell Smith and Elder Jonathan Blakely officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by daughters, Wynelle Hornsby of Travelers Rest, SC, Sherry Thurman of New Hope, AL and Carolyn Traywick of Jasper, FL; son, John Kenneth Dean of Fruithurst, AL; brother, Charles Sanders of Troy, AL; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John B. Dean; sisters, Virginia Rowe and Doris S. Austin and brother, Samuel Sanders.
