Mel Jones

Mr. Mel Jones, age 56, a resident of Tallassee, passed away December 25, 2012. He was born May 14, 1956.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 12 noon to 3 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Rev. Jay Woodall officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Jones; sons, Travis (Jennifer) Jones and Eric Jones; mother, Louise Melton Jones; brother, Freddie (Rita) Jones; sisters, Jerrie Christian and Rebecca “Bucka” (Jackie) Golden; and grandchildren, Conner Gavin Jones and Maggie Grace Jones.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Clyde Jones and a sister, Olivia Jones.
