Mildred Bernice "Millie" Reynolds

Mrs. Mildred “Millie” Reynolds, age 89, a loving wife, mother, friend and resident of Red Hill, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born March 8, 1924.

Visitation will be Friday, August 16 from 5 to 7 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 17 at 11 am at Refuge Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Steve Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Vernon Reynolds, Sr.; children, Cheryl Edmonds (Vernon), Vernon Reynolds, Jr., Robin Hardy (A.J.), Wesley Reynolds (Paula) and Jan Smith (Paul); brother, Charles Kenneth Young (Beverly); grandchildren, Nancy Caukin, James Reynolds, Emily Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, Cory Edmonds, Casey Bradley, Andrew Pinney and Amanda Smith; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her father, Delos Young; mother, Audrey Young and brother, D. A. Young, Jr.
