Mrs. Myrtice G. Darby, 90, of Tallassee, passed away May 10, 2019. She was born February 12, 1929.
Funeral service will be Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 am at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Scarborough officiating. Pall bearers will be Trent Griffith, Travis Hilyer, Shane Hilyer, David Rees, Charles Chambers and Ronald Joe Hall. Honorary pall bearers will be Terry Stiff, Bob Daniel and Glen Sanders. Burial will follow in Refuge Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service, starting at 10 am.
She is survived by her sister, Eloise Hilyer; brother, Sam Griffith and several nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Darby and son, Mark Darby.
