Patricia Gail Moseley

Patricia Gail Wright Moseley of Tallassee crossed the way peacefully in her home on Monday, June 8, 2026. Gail was born in Montgomery, Alabama on December 15, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen Marie Boyett Wright and Robert Haynes Wright. Survivors include her life partner, William Graham Moseley, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Moseley (both of Tallassee); sister, Denise Sweeney (Madison, Alabama); brother, Larry Wright (Tallassee); six nephews and several cousins.

Gail was a 1969 graduate of Tallassee High School and a 1986 graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery. She retired from the Montgomery Housing Authority as the head of the Accounting Department and Assistant Comptroller. During her tenure, she also served as the Treasurer of the Alabama Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities from 2005-2008. She was also a notary public.

Gail was a breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed on October 16, 2007. Each year on that date, she received an arrangement of pink roses, one for each year she was a survivor. A pink "survivor remembrance" ribbon was also included. The last arrangement, which she received in 2025, had 18 roses.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral service commencing at 12:00 pm, Rev. Clint McBroom and Mr. Lane Boggs officiating. Burial will follow the service in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tallassee. Pall Bearers will be Charlie Anderson, Jerry Bagett, Jim Sweeney, Blake Wright, David Wright and Donny Barton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Gail's name be made to the Dementia Society of America, the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of one's choice.

Gail's family acknowledges and appreciates the professionalism and compassion provided by the staff of Community Home Health and Hospice Care of Tallassee.
