Paula Elaine Allen

Paula Elaine Runyon Allen, age 76 of Eclectic, Alabama, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022. Paula, the youngest of 7 sisters, was born on March 20, 1946, in Holden, West Virginia.

She was an active member of Berean Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she participated and contributed to functions and charities through the church. Paula had over a 30-year career in sales, before she retired almost 20 years ago.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rhodes Runyon and Martha Jane Runyon; sisters, Delphia Davis (Bill), Audrey Burgess (Bill) and Manoka Lawrence (Gary); brothers-in-law, James Atwell, Bobby Hager and Danny Ray Allen; and sister-in-law, Roberta Hanshaw.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clyde D. Allen; her children, Mark Allen and Michone Roye; grandchildren, Hannah Naile, Nathan Allen, Cecilia Sides, Corey Johnson and Kenan Johnson; great-grandson, Rafe Naile; sisters, Columbia Hager, Rosaline Murray (Thomas) and Ruby Atwell; sister-in-law, Brenda Allen; brother-in-law, Tim Allen (Deanna) and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paula was loved and cherished by her family, church family, and all who knew her; she will be missed dearly. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Linville Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2022. Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm, with funeral service at 12pm officiated by Bro. Joey Miller of Berean Baptist Church. No graveside service will follow.
